Emma Dodge Hanson's fine art photographs have been shown in
galleries in New York and Philadelphia. Her botanical images, for which she received a “Ten Artists / Ten Years” SCAC award, are in a number
of private collections and are represented by AxD Gallery. The images
of botanical subjects in different states of decay in this series are direct
digital scans, a method which articulates their poignance and strangeness with an uncanny clarity. Emma's portraits have been exhibited as forty foot long banners on the side of the Saratoga City Center.
